Liebe Unterstützer und Unterstützerinnen des NO SHOW MUSEUMs,

Bitte merkt euch schon mal den Freitag 29. Mai 2015 vor – dann findet die offizielle Eröffnung des Museums in Zürich statt. Einladungen und Details dazu folgen bald.

Ursprünglich war ja die Eröffnung schon auf April geplant – schuld an der Verzögerung ist der Umbau eines alten Tessiner Postbusses zum mobilen Museum. Das hat etwas länger gedauert als geplant, dafür ist es jetzt schön herausgekommen :)

Die Belohnungen sollten bis zur Eröffnung auch spätestens produziert sein, einige der Produkte werde ich euch schon vorher zuschicken können.

Jedenfalls würd ich mich freuen, möglichst viele von euch an der Eröffnung zu sehen! Ich meld mich in Kürze mit mehr Infos dazu.

Since its foundation in 1966 (on the initiative of American artist Robert Smithson), numerous artists from all over the world have contributed to the development and establishment of the museum. The museum in its present form is run by the Society of Nothing (SON) based in Johannesburg. The museum’s current director is Swiss artist and curator Andreas Heusser.

Freischaffender Künstler und Kurator. Seit 2013 Direktor das «Openair Literatur Festival Zürich» und Co-Leiter des interdisziplinären Kunstraums «Das Institut». Zwischen 2011 und 2013 war er als Programmleiter im Kaufleuten für sämtliche Kulturveranstaltungen verantwortlich (Konzerte, Lesungen etc.) Hat zuerst an der Uni ZH Philosophie studiert und später in Bern die Kunsthochschule absolviert.
