Die letzten Wochen hatte ich die Möglichkeit, in New York zu studieren. Ich nutzte meine Freizeit um ein lang vorbereitetes Fotografieprojekt zu realisieren mit dem Titel, «New York in 40 Days».

Der Fotograf Leonard Fink (1930 – 1992) dokumentierte die Szene der Homosexuellen an den West Side Piers (Manhattan) in den 70ern mit eindrucksvollen s/w-Bildern. Nun erscheint ein Buch zu seinem Werk.

«From the Island» is my photobook that gathers pictures I took during my stay in New York between 2004 – 2009. I edited from over 1500 images. The book now holds 42 pictures.
