Jiri Oplatek geboren in Brno, CZ hat 1999 die Grafikfachklasse an der Schule für Gestaltung in Basel abgeschlossen. 2003 gründetet er mit Thomas Bircher und Roland John das Grafik und Interaktionsbüro Claudiabasel und ist bei Claudiabasel hauptsächlich für Drucksachen verantwortlich. Seit 2012 ist er Dozent für Visuelle Kommunikation an der HGK Basel.
