Protein Spotlight Magazine was founded in 2000 by the Swiss-Prot group (SIB). Every month, one protein is chosen among the hundreds of thousands that exist and Vivienne Baillie Gerritsen - the group's science writer - weaves a tale. Over the years, the very accessible articles have become popular worldwide while also used by professors to introduce the life sciences to students.
