Silvan Hillmann, Garrett Nelson & Momo Kunz

We are Nelson Hillmann, a collaboration of art, design, film, craft and research. Silvan Hillmann is from Zürich and attended the Züricher Hochschule der Künste focusing on media arts and film. Garrett Nelson is from Indiana, USA and came to Switzerland in 2006. He did a Master’s degree in Contemporary Arts Practice at the Hochschule der Künste Bern and works as an artist, lecturer, performer and auctioneer all over Switzerland and abroad. Martina Kunz, a dear close friend of Nelson Hillmann, has joined our team for the production of this film. She’s a glowing expert of physical theater and literary pursuits. She is finishing her degree at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel/Bienne. We may be seen in cars, on trams, in buses, while shopping in Migros or running in spandex through your neighborhood and we may seem innocent if not slightly eccentric, but we have a driving force of creative energy that leads us to strange places and intense situations. We’ve been known to overdo it, to go too far, to step off the deep end and each time it’s all for the better.
