Die «Swiss Junior Drum Show» wurde durch Urs Gehrig, Instruktor der Tambouren der Knabenmusik Basel 1841, initiiert und erstmals 2011 im Stadtcasino Basel unter Mitwirkung der Knabenmusiken Basel, Bern, St. Gallen und Zürich sowie den Jungen der Top Secret Drummelschuel durchgeführt.

Urs Gehrig lebt und arbeitet in Basel.
