Christian first worked as a stagehand for an audiovisual production company, then he trained as an actor by taking courses in cinema and theatrical improvisation. He trained in editing and also took courses in film history at the University of Lausanne.
After starring in commercials, shorts, and improv shows, he began writing his own stories and directing his own shorts (often acting in them).
