About me
I was born in Bulgaria in a family of musicians. At the age of 4, I began playing the piano with my mother, who continued to be my teacher until I finished a National School of Arts in Bulgaria. In 2009 I was accepted at the University for music and performing arts Vienna, in the piano class of Prof. Oleg Maisenberg. Later on, after his retirement, I moved to the class of Prof. Stefan Vladar.
During my musical life, I have played at different festivals, such as «Peter The Great», Netherland, «San Daniele Piano Meeting», Italy, «Varna Summer International Festival», Bulgaria, «Apollonia» , Bulgaria, «Beethoven Festival», Vienna, «International Festival de Musica de Toledo», Spain, «Festival of Pennautier», France, «International Piano Festival Cabardièses», France, «Génération Jeunes Interprètes», «Chopin Festival Nohant», France among others.
In 2010 I made my debut at Salle Gaveau in Paris, thanks to the french pianist and manager Chantal Stigliani, with whom I continue to work.
«Chopin Waltzes»
I was extremely motivated to record all the Waltzes by F. Chopin, because as everybody, I love this music. This CD is the first of many more planed in the future. I believe that every musician should be recording as much as he can of his repertoire, because first of all this gives one better chance to be heard from more people and second of all, this is what stays forever. Behind each performance (recorded or live) of any musician stay years of hard preparation and dedication, a lot of sleepless nights and before everything else, love for music.
