Our festival began in 2014 as a passion project to build a cultural bridge between Switzerland and Japan. With your support, we are presenting a six-day celebration of Japanese cinema to Zurich!

A historical documentary film about a generation of women who, in 1971, were able to participate in politics for the first time — and now reflect on this turning point in their lives and our society.

«The Pawn» ist ein Kurzfilm und Diplomabschlussprojekt unseres Studententeams. Die Geschichte erzählt von einem Piraten und einem Wärter, die sich nach Jahren unvermittelt in einer Zelle wiedersehen.

We want to create a short film and then have it produced as a feature film. This project is about childhood, redemption from addictions, self-reflection, and self-confidence.
