This is what it's all about.
My eighth album is ready to launch. It features twelve songs written and recorded over four months in Berlin. I wanted to leave Zurich and my familiar surroundings for a while to see what would emerge.
I returned with music that convinces even me. Of course, an album like this is never created entirely alone. Several producers worked on the beats, and for the first time, I produced part of it myself. Recording, mixing, and mastering are handled by people I’ve collaborated with for many years.
This album is funded by no one but us. The canton and the city turned us down, and there’s no advance from a label. That’s why I’m releasing my new album independently, together with my own team. It’s also why this campaign exists.
In December, I’ll perform the first new songs live at Dynamo Zurich. The album will be released digitally and on vinyl in spring 2027. Festivals will follow in the summer, and release concerts in the autumn.

My project is special because ...
I make albums. Each one has its own colour, and I take the time it needs. This album, too, is meant to be a complete work: music, artwork, photos, videos, vinyl and live concerts. Everything should fit together and form a cohesive whole.
What’s often not visible from the outside: a lot of people work on an album. This includes photos, videos, graphics, mixing and mastering, management, booking, distribution and back office. Most of these people have been with me for many years. It’s important to me that everyone is paid fairly for their work. That means more to me than any number on Spotify. That’s why they also have their say in the video above.
German-speaking Switzerland, with its four to five million people, is a small market. At the same time, we work with Swiss costs. The investment is similar to that in Germany or France, but the return from the smaller market is significantly lower. When funding falls away, this money is immediately missing from the music, the videos and everything else that goes into an album.
I financed my first album in 2010 through crowdfunding. I’ve been making music for eighteen years now, and I’ve been living off it for six. That’s why I’m taking the same path again as I did at the beginning: directly between you and me.

This is what I need backing for.
The 25,000 francs will go towards finalising the album. This covers recording, mixing and mastering, several videos, press photos, artwork and graphics. It also includes producing 1,000 vinyl copies, merchandise and digital distribution. Additionally, it funds the work of management, booking and distribution – the teams that ensure an album actually reaches its audience.
For me, an album is about more than just the record. There will be multiple videos and a pre-listening event. Plus, I’m creating a unique space where I’ll cook. I’ll reveal more about that later, though.
A small portion of the funds will cover the production and shipping of rewards. Ten percent goes to wemakeit. If we raise more than 25,000 francs, every extra franc will go into promotion and marketing. This way, we can make sure the album doesn’t disappear after just two weeks.
Special rewards include a signed vinyl – which you’ll receive a week before everyone else – a listening session before the release, a test pressing, a beat produced by me, and a seat at the Chef’s Table, where I’ll cook myself. And there’s plenty more. Take your time to browse – there’s something for every budget.
This campaign follows an all-or-nothing approach. The funds will only be released if we hit the 25,000-franc goal. If we don’t reach the target, you’ll get your money back.
