Abe has written for major art magazines in the US and Europe and many artist catalogs. He was a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna, and produced exhibitions at Song Song, Vienna. Abe was educated at Carnegie Mellon University (BFA, 2002) and The University of Chicago (MA, 2006).
