«Tearak» began with a trip to the mountains of Chiang Rai, Thailand in 2014. As a tea lover, it was such a delight to discover great teas from local communities but at the same time I also learned how abusive the industry can be. The project began quite accidentally: I started buying teas directly from the farmers for myself and friends. Realizing the difference that this makes, we started Tearak.
