Das in Zürich und Hamburg basierte, u.a. an der ZHdK ausgebildete Streichtrio «trio oreade» widmet sich seit 2012 begeistert der solistischsten Gattung der Streicher-Kammermusik. Es wurde beim Int. Wettbewerb für Streichtrio in München 2012 mit dem 1. Preis ausgezeichnet. Weitere 1. Preise gewann es 2001 beim Kiwanis-Wettbewerb Zürich und 2014 beim Wettbewerb der August-Pickhardt-Stiftung Basel.
