01Create a project
What it’s all about
Create your project at your leisure in the interactive editor – free of charge, without obligation and for as long as you want. Your draft remains private until all the checkpoints in the «cockpit» are green. Then you release it for review.

Please note: The all-or-nothing principle applies
You set the duration (30–45 days) and target amount. If the target is reached, the project is successful – you receive the money. If it is not reached, your backers will be refunded within 2 weeks.
02Plan your campaign
What it's all about
- Start strong: plan your communication before the project starts. Think about who belongs to your network and how you can best reach these people.
- Your goal: Everyone should know about your project as soon as it goes online. Because don't forget: crowdfunding follows the all-or-nothing principle.

- What story do you want to tell about your project?
- Who will you contact and when?
- Which channels will you use? (e.g. personal emails, newsletters, social media, flyers)

03Do a project check
What it’s all about
- Your project will be reviewed and approved by the wemakeit advisory team within 48 hours. So allow for some lead time.
- You will receive specific tips on how to optimize your project page.
- Once your project has been approved, you're ready to go!
04Go online
What it’s all about
- Your project is publicly visible on wemakeit.
- This is the most important phase of your crowdfunding campaign.
- From now on, your project can be supported. You can see live how many backers have already contributed and how much is still needed to reach your target amount.
This is important now
- Now it's all or nothing! That’s why your full commitment is required.
- The more people who know about your project, the better.
- Always share your project link, which leads directly to your campaign page.
- Stay active every day: write to backers, answer questions, contact the media.

05Receive money
What it’s all about
- For your project to be successful, it must reach at least 100% of its funding goal.
- It is possible to exceed the funding goal by any amount.
- If your project is successful, you will receive your payout within 14 days, minus 6% service and 4% transaction fees.
- If your project is unsuccessful, you will not incur any costs: if your project does not reach its target goal, all your backers will receive their money back. In this case, you can use our platform free of charge.
This is important now
- Money is important, but it’s not the only thing that counts. Thank your backers and keep them up to date.
- Send your rewards on time. If there are any delays, communicate transparently and inform your backers.
Our tips
- Stay in close contact with your supporters even after your campaign is over – this will turn them into loyal fans and customers.
- Show project progress and provide information about the status quo.
