Presentation of NODE
New actor in the swiss cultural landscape, NODE is an event dedicated to sound curiosities. It focuses on amazing instruments, forgotten music, weird sounds and on the correlation between past and present. Its mascot is the theremin. Open and fun, it offers appointments in Suisse Romande to listen and to discover the richness of different microcosms, off the beaten track.
We are seeking fundings for the next NODE’s event to be held on 19th and 20th January 2013 in Lausanne, in order to provide extraordinary projects and to ensure its organization. On that weekend, we would like specialists, musicians and curious people to meet one more time to share information and their passion in a cosy and friendly atmosphere.
Rendez-vous 2013
Halfway between a convention and a festival, the NODE is above all a friendly event about sound curiosities. From a specific theme, we build a coherent programme, sharp but accessible. In 2012, the NODE focused on the theremin and analog synthesizers. Nearly 800 people took part. In 2013, the NODE wants to focus on the phenomenon of sensors.
