☕ A family café writing a new chapter
L’Académie Café was born from a family adventure: two brothers, Antoine & Valentin, and a sister, Emmanuelle, united by the desire to create a place where you can drink good coffee, savor delicious things, and feel at home.
These two years full of adventures have taught us a lot: about the daily life of a café, about the desires of our precious customers, about what could be improved, and what we held dear.
And then, there was a year of construction in the street, in front of the storefront, which weakened the café (let’s face it, enjoying your cappuccino to the rhythm of an excavator is not the coziest experience).
The situation became so intense that it was necessary to close for two and a half months. A break to breathe, take stock, and prepare for relaunch.
All this reinforced what was obvious: it was time to give this café a new breath of life.
So it’s me, Emma, who is taking over the management of L’Académie Café to write a new chapter under a new name: Sisterfields.

🤲🏼 Sisterfields, a place that delights and brings people together
In two years, L’Académie Café has seen familiar faces, shared coffees and matchas, memories, emotions, and countless delicious brunches. With Sisterfields, I want to preserve this spirit of conviviality, and go even further with renewed energy, refocused on well-being and sharing.
☕ At Sisterfields on weekday mornings, there are those who don’t speak before their first coffee, those who grab a latte and a pastry in a hurry before going to work, and those who settle in quietly with a cappuccino and the newspaper.
💻 Then come the digital nomads, who settle in with their laptops, a flat white on one side and an avocado toast on the other to calm the morning hunger. For them, Sisterfields is a welcoming and inspiring place.
🤝🏼 On Tuesdays, members of parliament walk through the door before their Grand Council session. Then, colleagues gather for meetings, armed with double espressos and banana bread, turning Sisterfields into an improvised brainstorming room.
🍪 At the 10:00 break, it’s the students from Gymnase de la Cité who come to get a cookie to hold them over until noon.
🥗 And then comes the lunch break. There are those who come to enjoy a bowl with friends, while others leave with something to eat quickly and well so as not to lose a minute of their day.
🍵 In the afternoon, Sisterfields changes atmosphere and becomes a meeting place with multiple energies. There are the early birds, eager to try our new drinks. The parents who come to spend a tender and sweet moment with their children. Friends with two or four paws who settle in to share, exchange the latest news, and laugh together. And then, there are those who take advantage of this quiet time to treat themselves to «just a little sweetness.»
🧇 Then on weekends, a special energy fills Sisterfields. The café vibrates with discussions, fills with laughter, the joyful hustle and bustle of brunches, and the comforting smells that escape from the kitchen. With family, among friends, as lovers, or simply for oneself, everyone finds their place in this joyful excitement. Conversations mix, some share, others savor in silence. It’s a moment out of time, where we take pleasure in coming together, tasting, and remembering that eating together is one of the most beautiful ways to enjoy life.

🫶🏼 We write the rest together
Me, Emma, I want every person who walks through the doors of Sisterfields to feel welcomed with warmth, simplicity, and sincerity. Sharing a coffee, a meal, or even just a conversation is already a way of caring for one another.
My training in nutrition has given me the keys to bring this vision to life. Here, no strict rules or guilt-driven talk: only plates and drinks that combine pleasure and well-being, nourishing both body and mind, while bringing joy.
And because Sisterfields is above all a family story, I want it to be more than just a café: a place that brings people together and creates connection. Through workshops, events, and gatherings, it will be a space to share, learn, and grow together.
♥️ Your support is precious to help write this new chapter. For a whole year, heavy construction on the street outside put the café through a tough test. It became invisible to passersby, discouraging for customers, and exhausting for the team (noise, shaking, smells… not exactly «cozy vibes»).
With Sisterfields, we want to turn this challenge into a true new beginning.
Your support matters to help us:
- give Sisterfields the boost it needs for a sustainable relaunch,
- launch events and workshops that recreate a friendly dynamic and strengthen ties with you,
- make Sisterfields a lively, delicious, and welcoming place where everyone can feel at home.
My wish is simple: that everyone leaves Sisterfields with a smile ☺️
